Alonzo Carlyle letters, 1918.

Letters describing Carlyle's World War I service with the Young Men's Christian Association for the American Expeditionary Forces in France, discussing the conduct of the war, services performed for the soldiers by Carlyle as YMCA secretary, his visit to Paris, and celebration of the armistice. The letters are written to Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Millen and to one unidentified person; there is also a letter (original) written by Captain E. J. D. Larson to W. B. Millen.
